Nature Trails
We've developed a new way to experience themes and ideas from our children’s picture books.
MLB Nature Trails provide information and prompts to view our natural world differently. They challenge us to be Nature Detectives. They encourage us to take time, slow down, look and look again at what surrounds us. What could you discover today?
Be a nature detective
Follow the trail and look closely for clues, from nibbled leaves and animal prints to feathers, nests, bugs and mysterious scents. Listen for birdsong, do the waggle dance and see what wildlife secrets you can uncover.
Encourage exploration and appreciation for outdoor space and nature.
Whether it’s printed picture books, immersive audio books or nature trails, our ethos and motivation remains the same.
Our nature trails are designed to perfectly pair with the location. They are designed to broaden the existing offering. They encourage and challenge families to view their surroundings differently, often noticing things for the first time.
Engage and inspire.
Our nature trails take a variety of forms from booklets and sheets, to physical boards and displays. Boards can be interactive and we can include prompts and QR codes where required, however we often find destinations prefer families to put phones away and be more connected as a family and with their natural surroundings.
Trails are often offered as a free extension of the entry free or offered for a small additional fee. In addition to the experience we can offer postcards, colouring sheets and stickers as the perfect memento (not forgetting the books as well, often available in the gift shop).
Are you a National Trust or independent family destination looking for something different? Would you like to broaden your offering and visitor experience?
We have a wide range of offerings to suit all budgets, ranging from fully bespoke packages, completely tailored to your brand, ideas and space, to simple licensing of imagery and ideas.
