Our rivers are crying out for help. River Girl – the work and persona of campaigner Debbie Campbell – brings their stories to life, inspiring children, families and communities to protect the waterways they love. Debbie interviews Andy to see what inspires him to write “Any Trout About? A riverside adventure.”

We are so excited to to be part of the very first Brimscombe Mill Kids Book Festival. It will be held over the weekend of 9-10th October 2026 and we want to welcome you all to join us.

Come along to the play area to hear Andy read from his MLB books, have the opportunity to ask him your questions, and get inspired to explore the great outdoors and have your own adventure!

Watch this space for an amazing competition and collaboration with Mollie at Stitch&Pull bespoke knitwear. We are so excited about this.

On Sunday 7th June, Andy was part of a fantastic nature-themed event in Stonehouse near Stroud, reading from both MLB books. The day celebrated everything that is wonderful about a local community who care about nature.

On Monday 18th May, Andy visited The Croft School, Painswick, Gloucestershire as part of their Wellbeing week. Andy read from the MLB books, to groups of all ages, and led nature-themed activities exploring the idea of “take notice”.

On Wednesday 8th April, Andy visited his home town of Stroud and took part in a book reading and nature-themed activities at the town library, a wonderful new space to explore books.

To celebrate World Book Day 2026 Andy had the pleasure of visiting Great Oldbury Academy Primary, Stonehouse, Gloucestershire. It was a wonderful morning, full of fun, dressing up and, of course, lots of reading.

To kick-start "World Book Day Week” Andy was kindly invited to Tinkley Gate in Woodchester (National Park Trust), Gloucestershire to be part of their regular story time session and to open their new younger readers area.

Andy had the pleasure of being involved in a Children’s Authors Day at Naomi House & Jacksplace, near Winchester, kindly organised by Partridge BMW.

Andy visited National Trust venue and stockist, Dyrham Park, near Bath. He had a great time signing books and meeting customers as well as exploring the grounds and seeing the new herd of fallow deer.
