Stroud Library Easter Event

On Wednesday 8th April Andy visited his home-town of Stroud and took part in a great “Meet the Author” session at Stroud Library. Andy read from both go his children’s picture books and gave out lots of stickers, postcards and advice on how to become a children’s author.

Bryony Boyes-Hannis (Customer Development Coordinator @ Gloucestershire Libraries) said:

“We’ve been looking to get Andy in for some months, as soon as we realised he had returned to Stroud. His books are very popular in the library so it was a great experience to offer our community over the Easter period. Andy was a lot of fun, interacting with the audience of all ages. This wasn’t just a simple reading, he was happy to read other people’s books as well which was really kind. He taught families how to make the most of their nature-themed walks with simple activities and answers lots of questions regarding his inspiration and ideas for future books - watch this space! Thanks Andy.”

We love doing Library visits!
